We are currently hiring for these positions:


Manufacturing Tech

Details:

  • Location: Denver, Colorado
  • Reports to: Aaron Parker, Operations Manager
  • Type of Role: Full time, Hourly

Summary:
Guerrilla Gravity is a rapidly-growing brand, building bikes for going fast, with a do-it-yourself ethos. The company is driven by a passion to evolve manufacturing technologies, supply chains, and product designs within the cycling industry. The Manufacturing Tech will assist in the fabrication, finishing, and assembly of our mountain bike frames in order to increase our capacity. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, exceptional attention to detail, and thrive in an intense, fast-paced environment delivering exceptional results.

Education and Experience:

  • Proven mechanical aptitude
  • Fabrication, skilled labor, or mechanic experience
  • Lean manufacturing experience & understanding
  • Bike mechanic or bike industry experience a plus
  • In-depth knowledge of mountain bikes a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Front Triangle Prep - Use a router and lathe to prep front triangles for assembly
  • Rear Triangle Prep - Aid in the fabrication of aluminum rear triangles
  • Sanding - Follow detailed instructions to efficiently prep frames for powder coat
  • Apply Decals - Apply decals with an eye for perfection
  • Frame Assembly - Assemble rear triangles and mount to frame
  • System Optimization - Create and improve systems

Requirements:

  • At least two years of fabrication or skilled labor experience
  • Ability to prioritize workload for efficient output
  • Attention to detail in everything you do with an obsession for quality, organization, and efficiency
  • Has good instincts - treats expensive tools and machinery as if you paid for them
  • Ability to problem solve and work independently
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs

Process Engineer

Details:

  • Location: Denver, Colorado - On-site required
  • Reports to: Aaron Parker, Operations Manager
  • Type of Role: Full Time, Salaried

Summary:
Revved Industries, the parent company of Guerilla Gravity, is the bike industry’s newest and most advanced carbon fiber operation. The company is driven by a passion to evolve manufacturing technologies, supply chains, and product designs within the cycling industry. We are looking for a Process Engineer to take process improvement designs from sketches to reality. This team member will assist in the ownership of the equipment, system and methods used in our manufacturing facility to transform raw ingredients to their final product form.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in chemical, manufacturing, mechanical or industrial engineering
  • 1-2 years of manufacturing, technician work, and/ or engineer experience
  • Bike industry experience and in-depth knowledge of mountain bikes a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and communicate thoughts on ways to improve designs and processes
    • Create and scale new manufacturing methods
    • Prioritize improvements in order of importance to improve safety & quality, then efficiency
    • Determine upstream and downstream effects of all possible changes, as well as magnitude of improvement vs cost/effort
  • Fabrication and Implementation
    • Take process improvement designs from napkin sketches to reality
    • Work closely with the operations manager, design team and manufacturing techs to determine the best path forward for implementing improvements
    • Implement process improvements by fabricating, machining and assembling or outsourcing work when necessary
    • Assist with other engineering projects as needed

Skills and Requirements:

  • Ability to be adaptable and flexible in the working environment
  • Ability to collaborate digitally as needed if not on site
  • Ability to develop a plan with relevant engineering and manufacturing teams
  • Strength in completing designs in a timely fashion, implementing the project with the planned level of improvement seen in the results
  • Ability to wear lots of hats in a small company environment
  • Ability to problem solve and work independently
  • Has good instincts--when you suggest approaches that nobody on the team has thought of, it immediately strikes everyone as obvious
  • Attention to detail in everything you do with an obsession with quality, organization, and efficiency
  • Lean manufacturing experience & understanding
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs

Powder Coat Supervisor

Details:

  • Location: Denver, Colorado - On-site required
  • Reports to: Aaron Parker, Operations Manager
  • Type of Role: Full Time, Salaried

Summary:
Revved Industries, the parent company of Guerilla Gravity, is the bike industry’s newest and most advanced carbon fiber operation. The company is driven by a passion to evolve manufacturing technologies, supply chains, and product designs within the cycling industry. We are looking for an experienced Powder Coat Supervisor to lead a team in the proper application of powder coating of our carbon fiber bike frames. This person will work to grow the powder coating department and process improvements within our manufacturing workplace.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years powder coat lead experience
  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing a plus

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Powder Coat Process Implementation
    • Determine equipment and staffing needs in order to meet required capacity
    • Work with Engineering and Operations to design, order, and implement a powder coating cell
    • Assist HR in defining additional powder coating roles and hiring of those individuals
  • Powder Coat Cell Management
    • Develop and lead powder coating operation for carbon fiber bike frames
    • Operate cell to clean, apply tape and plugs, apply primer, apply powder, sand, bake, and finish carbon fiber frames
    • Train team on powder coating best practices as needs expand
    • Develop process standards for powder coating
    • Lead team to deliver on the required production metrics and drive for continuous improvement

Skills and Requirements:

  • Safety First - establish a culture of safety
  • Implement a first-rate powder coating cell capable of processing 200 frames per month
  • Produce quality parts at the required rate
  • Hire and lead a small powder coating team
  • Implement process standards for powder coating
